Evides well on its way with 'Waterkracht' program

Dutch Water company Evides has taken the next successful step in implementing their Asset Management program, “Waterkracht”. This program aims to optimally support the operational asset management processes by maximizing synergies between different systems and disciplines such as CAD, GIS, EAM, ERP, planning and scheduling.
Tensing conducted an integration test by linking standard 10-ArcGIS components to system design (Autocad) and the Enterprise Asset Management (Infor). Additionally Tensing implemented ESRI’s ArcGIS suite.
The concept validation has been broken up into phases; the first phase was just completed. The start of the second phase includes introduction of new systems such as CRM and scheduling which will be integrated with existing systems. The goal is to test the performance consistency of the new configuration and interfaces and prepare for the migration of data from the current GIS to ArcGIS Server.
"Obviously we welcome the successful development to date, and we hope for a long and fruitful collaboration with various partners and Evides", said Sophie Verbeek, Manager of Business Development at Tensing.
