The German company Urbana, part of the KALO Gruppe, has a unique business model: energy contracting, energy services and technical facility management for residential, commercial, public and industrial buildings. With its own operations organization and around 750 energy-supply systems Urbana provides energy for  150,000 homes and 600 public and commercial buildings.  For technical facility management - maintenance and repair services - Urbana has a number of field service technicians throughout Germany, serving around 80,000 apartments. In order to optimize the field service process Urbana has chosen the Planon Mobile Solution. This off the shelf mobile solution is the result of intensive collaboration with Tensing and allows mobile work process transparency for their back office.

The successful pilot project, which commenced earlier this year has lead to an enterprise wide implementation.
